Accolades
"Composed of 62% Malbec, 18% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the inky purple 2021 Mountain Sage Proprietary Red Wine is ripe and brooding with deep, layered aromas of resinous herbs, black plum, and dark stony earth. Full-bodied, it has a great, plush texture, mocha notes through the palate, and a long finish. Elegance and luxury, all the way through, it harkens more to a Right Bank Bordeaux than Malbec in my mind and is going to age at a very slow pace over the next 20 or more years. 180 cases were produced."
